Hi Marci,
Your best option is learning the Yamaha. Make sure that the batteries are fresh in the original remote and that your alignment of the IR diodes during learning is precise and that the diodes are about 2cm apart. Press learn and wait one or two seconds prior to pressing the original remote button while you hold the correct alignment. You cannot copy a button from another device remote IR Code and have it work. You can create 2 device remotes and combine the buttons into an activity remote to do what you want.

The TV network logos are from the Favorites setup. Setup your devices, then set up a "Watch TV" activity remote that combines your Satellite Box, TV, Amp, etc. so you have the buttons to Watch TV and macros to power on and off the devices. You can also add a macro to switch the inputs correctly. Next, back in the Rooms Tab, setup your Favorites lists for the "Watch TV" activity. When you select the "Watch TV" Activity remote, the Favorites will display on the right side of the screen.
