New Features

The latest version of the Rē app is packed with exciting new features that make the best iPhone and iPod touch based remote solution even better! Some of the new features include:

BUMP Support

The Rē now uses BUMP technology that allows you to transfer some or all of your personalized Re setup from one iPhone, iPod touch or iPad to another! Migrate your remotes from one device to another for backup, to create duplicate remotes, or share your setups with friends and family!

More Brands Supported

The database listings have been updated with more supported brands, including compatibility with the PlayStation 3 using the Schmartz wireless infra-red adapter. See the full list here.

iPad

This is a question we get asked a lot: When will the Rē support the iPad? The Rē v1.1 iPhone App is compatible with the iPad.

New Settings

With version 1.1, the display can now auto-dim with activation based upon movement. Additionally, there is now an app-specific timer that can control when the iPhone or iPod touch will go to sleep. Finally, the new version offers vibrate on/off and volume control for button click specifically within the Rē App .

Skins

You can now skin your Rē app with different backgrounds and background colors! Choose a separate color per remote to be able to quickly distinguish between the different remotes on your iPhone or iPod touch. You can also add personality to your Rē with the option of adding selected background images.

New IR Control

The latest version of the Rē now includes features that were highly requested by our users, including a configurable IR code transmit time. This allows you to set, on a per-remote basis, the length of time the Rē will transmit a code. Therefore, the Rē works more efficiently with older devices that require longer transmit times.
