Win an iPad! – NewKinetix YouTube Competition

Below is an online synopsis of the contest rules. Official rules can be downloaded.

Eligibility

The NewKinetix YouTube Competition (“the Contest”) is open to everyone. Participants under the age of eighteen (18) must have the permission of their parent or guardian. Members of the NewKinetix YouTube Contest Selection Committee, their immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such Member are not eligible. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter

• Create your video following the listed requirements and upload it to the NewKinetix YouTube Contest Group.
• Fill out and submit the online entry form
• There is no limit on the number of videos someone may submit.
• Entries close on August 20, 2010 at 3PM Pacific Time.

Submission Requirements

• Video must clearly promote the Rē. The phrase “using my Rē” must appear as a part of the video title.
• Video must be less than 5 minutes in length.
• Video must be QuickTime/MOV, WMV, MPEG or AVI and submitted to the NewKinetix YouTube Contest Group.
• Video may be no larger than 50 MB.
• Each entrant is solely responsible to obtain release forms for all of the people featured in your video. NewKinetix may, but is not obligated to request and verify that all release forms have been obtained.
• By entering the Contest you agree to indemnify NewKinetix, and all related parties for any claim, demand, judgment, or other allegation arising from your possible violation of someone’s trademark, copyright, or other legally protected interest in any way in your video.
• Winning Entrants must be able to provide NewKinetix with an original video file.

Content Restrictions

• Submissions must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights or that constitutes copyright infringement;
• Submissions must not contain brand names or trademarks other than the logo for the Rē or NewKinetix, which entrant is authorized to use for the purposes of this Submission only;
• Submissions must not contain images or artwork not created by entrant;
• Submissions must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortuous, defamatory, slanderous or libelous. Avoid profane language, violence, sex or personal attacks on individuals or organizations of any kind;
• Submission may not contain any endorsement, solicitation, commercial, or similar content advocating for or against candidates for office, political issues, or commercial products.
• Submissions must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
• Submissions must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where Submission is created.
• Submissions cannot have been submitted previously in a promotion of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly through any means previously.
