At home, the Rē gives you the ability to duplicate every remote in every room. You can setup the NewKinetix Rē in minutes and have every individual remote instantly available at your finger tips. But more than that, you can build Universal Remotes that orchestrate your AV equipment to work together to personalize each viewing or listening activity.

Share your Settings
You can use the popular BUMP app, which is incorporated into the Rē app, to transfer part or all of your personalized Rē setup from one iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad to another. You can also email setup information, so if you learn or customize a device, it’s easy to share with other users. You can also use email to backup your settings.

Built-in, Upgradeable IR Database
The Rē Accessory contains an extensive IR database for most brands and types of AV equipment, including PS3 compatibility. Unlike learning-only remotes, it can even replace a lost or broken remote. Now with IR Codes on Demand™ NewKinetix can add new devices to the database at any time based on customer requests or if a popular new device becomes available that requires a new IR code set.

Activity-based User Interface
The Rē creates a specialized iPhone, iPad or iPod touch remote control for each entertainment activity you want to control. Activity Remotes are automatically set up to allow you instant access to the right device buttons for watching TV, a DVD movie, or listening to a CD. If you need a special button from a Device Remote, it’s a touch away, or if you use that function often, you can make a copy of the button in your Activity.

Powerful IR Transmitter
The Rē IR Accessory’s IR transmitter has been optimized for intensity and beam width for maximum range of use. The transmitter is positioned for comfortable use and optimum display visibility on your phone or iPod. The Rē IR Accessory also compensates for the varied IR signal demands by integrating device and button specific IR timing control for delay and transmit time, providing the ability to handle demanding applications with differing IR signal timing.

Unlimited Macro Capability
You can create macros (button playback sequences) on Rē Universal Remotes that simplify using your home theater. Create one button to play a command sequence that turns on the TV, receiver, and cable box power and then selects the right AV inputs and outputs to automate your “Watch TV” activity. Set it up once, and you don’t have to remember where all those cables are plugged. Macros are not limited in number, number of steps, buttons or commands that can be used.

Customizable Remote Views
The Rē application provides user customization of every remote layout. You can choose button images and create the best button layout for your use of each remote. You can easily rename, add, delete and move buttons. You can also assign unique skin colors to devices and activities to easily distinguish between them or add selected background images for aesthetic enhancements.

Unlimited Favorites Lists
You can organize your favorite channels into Favorites Lists like “Sports” or “Movies” for instant access. Tap the network icon and instantly the change channel without entering the digits or using the menu. You can have Favorites for any Activity, so you can create radio stations presets and CD play lists. You can also copy and paste favorites from Room to Room.

Learns New Keys & Devices
IR code learning is included in the Rē to augment the IR database. You may find an unsupported button or a device brand or type that you may need to learn. It’s easy with the Rē.
